Setting up and weaving on a table loom:
In this 1‑day weaving class, you’ll get hands‑on experience with setting up and weaving on a tabletop loom. It’s an ideal introductory workshop for anyone curious about the weaving process and eager to try it in a supportive, creative environment.
What to expect:
Over the course of the day, you’ll learn the full process of preparing and weaving on a table loom. You’ll create a piece of cloth approximately 80 cm long and 15 cm wide, either woven as one continuous length or divided into smaller sections—whichever suits your project.
You’ll choose your colours from a curated selection of organic cotton yarns. I’ll guide you through measuring the warp, preparing the loom, and setting up a simple pattern. Once everything is ready, you’ll have plenty of time to experiment with weaving and explore different colours and patterns.
I’ll be there throughout the workshop to support you, answer questions, and help you feel confident at the loom.
