Course Description

In this 1-day weaving class you will become familiar with setting up and weaving on a tabletop loom. This is a great introductory workshop for those interested in learning about the weaving process. What to expect: In this workshop you will learn the complete process of setting up and weaving on a table loom. In this workshop you will weave a 1 meter long (ca. 15 cm wide) piece, which can be woven in one length or split up into sections. You will choose your colours from a selection of organic cotton yarns, and I will show you how to measure out the proper lengths to put on the loom. After the loom is all set up with a simple pattern you will have time to experiment with weaving on the loom! I will be available to help with any questions you might have.
