Just Weave! – Beginner Weaving Workshop
Weaving on a 4-shaft loom
This 1-day beginner workshop is perfect for those who are interested in learning about the basic weaving process and want to spend a lovely day creating a beautiful woven scarf.
What to expect:
When you show up to the workshop you will find a loom set up with a natural organic cotton warp ready to be woven. There will be a selection of cotton yarn colours for you to select for your weft. You can choose up to 5 colours to weave with.
Once your colours are selected the weaving can begin! I will give you instructions on how the loom works and how you can create a few simple patterns. After helping you with starting your scarf, you will have time to experiment with weaving. I will be available to help you at any time you have a question.
In this workshop you will weave a 2 meter long (ca. 35 cm) wide scarf. Of course, you can also divide the warp to make multiple smaller projects.

» Light snacks and drinks provided (vegan/organic)
» Lunches are NOT provided - please bring one with you (there is a café and bakery close by)
» Please also bring comfortable shoes and clothes (weaving requires a lot of sitting, so it is best to wear comfortable clothes)
» This workshop is available in German and English
» Cost: € 340.00 (including VAT)
» Includes enough organic cotton yarn for one 2-meter-long scarf (ca 35 cm wide)
